Antiamnestic effect of new nicotinic acid derivatives

Introduction: The search for new drugs the prevention and treatment of vascular cognitive disorders continues to be a relevant task pharmacology. In this regard, aim work is study antiamnestic effect five nicotinic acid derivatives in comparison with well-known drug mexidol (ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate) animals.
 Materials methods: experiments were carried out on white male mice using conditioned passive avoidance reflex (CPAR). Electroconvulsive shock (ECS), scopolamine administration, acute hypoxia hermetic chamber used as amnesic effects. Testing safety CPAR was performed 24 h after exposure. substances, reference mexidol, 0.9% sodium chloride solution (control group) administered once intraperitoneally 60 min before training.
 Results discussion: Three derivatives, LKhT 4-19 (100 mg/kg), 6-19 (25, 50, 100 7-19 have properties models amnesia induced by ESC, scopolamine, chamber. At same time, most efficient substance – exceeds all three used. addition, compound also more than two other compounds, 7-19, model ESC-induced scopolamine-induced model.
 Conclusion: Compound promising further advanced preclinical studies potential activity.
